Founded in 1978, family-owned, Denny’s Childrenswear has become a kidswear retail phenomenon serving generations of families from New York to Florida with 13 stores filled with unique clothing, accessories and toys for children from infant to teen and beyond.
In 2007, Denny’s experienced a significant decline in sales as a result of the economic recession and change in spending habits of the general public. Denny’s realized they needed to change their marketing tactics in order to accommodate the changing marketplace and they decided to put Thinkhouse on the job.
With prior hands-on experience and knowledge in the retail clothing market, and after further research, Thinkhouse overhauled Denny’s marketing with a fresh, updated look and put more emphasis on email and less on print advertising, which was not yielding enough results. We instituted new processes internally on the website and in stores to improve and grow their database and lead generation. We helped grow their customer database from 40,000 to 70,000 in a few years. In addition, we vastly improved the quality of the company’s fashion photography using commercial photographers and professional models. Thinkhouse implemented the first ever Social Media program for Denny’s launching pages in Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter and helped win over 7,000 followers to their Facebook page.
